SIMO EDUCACIÓN 2014, The Learning Technology Exhibition, which runs from 16 to 18 October (Thursday to Saturday) at Feria de Madrid, under the new slogan "Teaching in a Digital World", will host an International Technology Transfer Workshop, organised by the madri+d Foundation for Knowledge, as part of the activities associated with its involvment in the Enterprise Europe Network. The aim of the workshop is to streamline communication and contact between companies, research centres and universities in the field. This international event will also enable potential partnership and business opportunities to be identified through previously scheduled bilateral interviews.

These technology getherings, organised as part of international fairs and exhibitions, enable contacts to be made for collaborations resulting in the provision of services and the start-up of joint technology development projects.

Any company, university or public research body interested in participating in this workshop must publish at least one technological offer or demand profile before 6 October. These profiles will be published in an online catalogue that will be updated constantly, enabling participants to choose those technological offers of interest to them and request meetings.

This initiative is part of the work programme of the Enterprise Europe Network of which Madri+d is an active node. This Network comprises 600 organisations that offer territorial coverage in more than 50 countries, providing companies with technological transfer advisory and support services, as a way to increase their international competitiveness.
