About the event:
Discussions are intensifying on what a post-Stockholm programme might look like in Europe. One of the central practical advances made by the EU in supporting work in the areas of freedom, security and justice has been the creation of the agency eu-LISA (EU Agency for Large Scale IT Systems). Currently focusing on asylum, migration and other border management IT infrastructure, the agency's remit and competencies will grow over time, drawing in additional IT infrastructure responsibilities in the field of justice and home affairs.
