Socioeconomic value of data-driven innovation is continuing to surge. The European Commission's "Free Flow of Data Initiative" (FFDI) aims to harness this momentum to drive innovation and competition. As part of the Digital Single Market Strategy, the FFDI tackles restrictions on the flow, interoperability, usability, access to and ownership of data within the EU.
