Tuesday’s runoff election in Texas’ 35th District has become for many a referendum on Democrat Maureen Galindo’s remarks, which her party has rebuked as antisemitic, and a test of whether national Democrats, at a time of increasing anti-Israel sentiment in the party base, can stop her from advancing to the general election.
