Banca Monte ‌dei Paschi di Siena and Banco BPM advisers are ​exploring a merger ​that would mix cash ⁠and shares as a ​possible alternative to Intesa ​Sanpaolo's offer for Monte Paschi, Bloomberg News reported on Monday.
