The seminar aims at bringing together experienced practitioners with EC senior officials in order to develop new ideas for overcoming the “valley of death” between ICT research and market, namely at the regional level. We will be discussing existing innovative and high impact initiatives, including ICT-based ones, in order to identify specific bottlenecks to greater impact and propose actionable policy ideas. The meeting will include interventions from DG CONNECT and JRC-IPTS, and continue with an interactive approach.
