On behalf of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), I am pleased to invite your organization to participate in a training workshop on “The Digital Dividend: Challenges and Consumer Interests”, to be held in Athens, Greece from 14 to 16 March 2012. This training workshop is organized jointly with the INA Academy and the Hellenic Telecommunications and Post Commission (EETT), with the support of COST TERRA framework, at the kind invitation of the Greek NRA (EETT).

This workshop has been developed as a part of the Regulatory issues Programme within the ITU Centres of Excellence Network for Europe and will take place at EETT premises in Athens, Greece. It is addressed to policy makers, regulators, corporate executives, managers, administrators and officials dealing with regulatory and business issues with regards to digital dividend.

Participants wishing to present a paper, in compliance with the list of topics to be addressed as per the agenda, are welcome to send their proposals by e-mail to Mrs. Kyriaki Soumelidou (academy@inatelecom.org) and Mr. Jaroslaw Ponder (jaroslaw.ponder@itu.int).

To register for this workshop, participants are kindly requested to complete the Registration Form, which can be downloaded from the aforementioned link (together with the general information for participants) and return it to the e-mail (academy@inatelecom.org) no later than 29 February 2012.

Please be informed that a training fee of USD 250 is being applied for this workshop. For payment instructions please refer to the aforementioned link.

Travel arrangements and accommodation expenses should be made and borne by the participating Administration. Hotel reservation should be made directly with the chosen hotel using the Hotel Reservation Form which can be downloaded from the ITU Academy portal at the aforementioned link, together with an Information Note for Participants.
