U.S. President Donald Trump signed a proclamation on Wednesday to address national security concerns with respect to imports of semiconductors, and imposed a 25% tariff on certain advanced computing chips, such as the Nvidia H200 and AMD MI325X, according to a fact sheet released by the White House.
